With the old fashioned way of drafting, a drafter's imagination would come to life directly and he'll have a better feel of his drafting work than doing it in some software that has limitations if the draftsman has limited knowledge or skill of the software. He can do his drafting without the need to spend time to develop his skill in computer drafting.
