What Is A Drafting Table?
A drafting table is a multi-purpose table with an adjustable top. Aside from drafting, which is its primary purpose, drafting tables can also be used for reading large books or any other oversized documents, writing, and impromptu sketching. It is made of different notches, gears, levers, and cogs used to adjust or to move the drafting tables at the user's convenience. They were first used during the advent of industrial revolution where drafting started as a specialized field. This equipment is usually being used for the drafting or plan reading needs of the architect or the engineer. Drafting tables aid them in delivering quality work to be used for building plans and other purposes. With that, they continuously developed the drafting tables to make it more convenient to the user.
